Cannabis licences for NSW Australia
Hi all, today was the first information session about growing cannabis.
What I found interesting follows,
The current estimation is 20,000 patients with approximately 3 hectares grown in greenhouse or indoor or 15 hectares outdoor.
These numbers are just the starting point, if 100,000 patients present then obviously more will be required.
Today it was confirmed that NO LIMIT ON LICENCE'S, but without a contact you will not be able to grow.
The industry in general will be strictly regulated, but not to the same extent as other pharmaceuticals.
To just grow is a single licence yet to manufacture requires three all with different federal government departments.
Unless trials prove otherwise the government has decided to go for big Pharmas preferred option which is using isolated compounds over whole plant.
To be able to obtain a script your doctor must provide proof of big Pharma chemicals had been tried first an proven ineffective.
Plus alot more.

My personal observations and opinions,
Bill the regulator from the ODC (Office of Drug Control) is the person who is an ally of medical cannabis.
He even when talking about using isolated Cannabinoids he referred to treatment of cancer which is a milestone of sorts.
Alot of vultures where present, purely there for the potential riches of the industry with no vested interest or passion for the industry.
Bill as I stated is pro medical cannabis, but he made it clear that recreational use will remain illegal, when he said that he had what's called an involuntary tell, a smirk, very different but it reminded me of G Bush Jr.
The biggest hurdle that we all know exists is doctors, they lack the knowledge especially specialist's, yet specialist's will be the one's at first who will be able to write a prescription.
Overall I feel that baby steps while horribly slow is the pace we should expect.
What we want and what we have are worlds apart, while this offers hope it fails to ensure that every Australian will have access to what know is classed as a medicine.

If we allow our governments to decide what medicines we take and what foods we eat we will continue to live in Tyranny.

What are we really eating?
In the year 1900, the average American ate over 35 pounds of cabbage a year. And cabbage is very cleansing and helps the immune system. But how many of us eat much cabbage these days, although our need is much greater than those who lived in prior times?
Some ingredients haven't been approved because the FDA (that cares so much for your health) doesn't even know about them.
Companies have added thousands of ingredients to foods with little to no government oversight. In the past five decades, the number of food additives has skyrocketed — from about 800 to more than 10,000. They are added to everything from baked goods and breakfast cereals to energy bars and carbonated drinks.
That's thanks to a loophole in a decades-old law that allows them to deem an additive to be "generally recognized as safe" — or GRAS — without the U.S. Food and Drug Administration's blessing, or even its knowledge.
The loophole was originally intended to allow manufacturers of common ingredients like vinegar and table salt — when added to processed foods — to bypass the FDA's lengthy safety-review process. But over time, companies have found that it's far more efficient to take advantage of the exemption to get their products on shelves quickly. Some of these products contain additives that the FDA has found to pose dangers.

Nostradamus Rose Pills
In 1544 Nostradamus stopped for some time in Marseilles in order to help bring a fresh outbreak of the plague under control. In 1546 the Black Death gained a hold in the province's main city, Aix-en-Provence. Nostradamus was summoned and devoted himself courageously and in a determined manner to the healing of the sick and above all to preventive measures among the healthy. He spent days, weeks and months in the midst of the appalling atmosphere of wholesale death and despair and was indeed able to cure people and to sow seeds of fresh hope.

His remedies included 'rose pills', which were to be made as follows:
one ounce of sawdust from the greenest available cypress treeThese ingredients are pulverized and then 300 to 400 red roses, which have been picked before the grey light of dawn and similarly pulverized, are mixed in with them. Throughout care is taken to prevent undue exposure to the air. The mixture is then shaped into pills, which the patient constantly keeps in the mouth. According to Michel, the wonderful scent can kill bad breath and foul smells and clean rotten teeth.
six ounces of Florentine iris
three ounces of cloves
three drachms of weet flag (root)
six drachms of resinous aloe wood

Kale Blast - Cocktail of life
My morning nutrient blast:
1 cucumber
1 apple
4 cloves of garlic
1 chunk of ginger about the size of a car key fob
3 stalks of celery
A large salad size clump of kale
Blend it all up (chop it up enough before you blend it any high quality blender will do)
Blend it all up, and you've got the infamous "Hulk Loads" kale shake.
You'll feel fantastic, have a big burst of energy and later on your poop will fly out of your body as if it was late to catch a plane.
If you grow Cannabis the benefits raw are very good to add minerals to your diet
